Where we are
AT THE HEART OF TUSCANY TO VIST IT EASILY
The Bellavista Impruneta is located in a strategic position to visit all of Tuscany.
We are in the center of the region, just 6km far from the highway A1 exit Florence-Impruneta, and just 10km from Florence.
How to reach the Bellavista:
GPS Coordinates: 43°41’06.8″N – 11°15’14.9″E
A – By car from Northern Italy:
1. Take Highway A1 towards Rome
2. Exit at Firenze -Impruneta
3. Turn right, following the blue signs for “Impruneta”
4. After 1 km (0.6 miles), at the first intersection, turn left
5. Pass through the main square of the little town of Tavarnuzze and continue towards Impruneta (the street goes up a hill)
6. After just 5 km (3 miles) you will arrive in Impruneta
7. the Bellavista is in the main square.
B – By car from Southern Italy:
1. Take Highway A1 towards Milan
2. Exit at Firenze -Impruneta
3. Follow points A3 through A7 above
C – From Santa Maria Novella railway station in Florence:
1. After descending from the train, with the tracks behind you, exit on the right side of the railway station and go down the stairs.
2. Cross the tram tracks and the street in front of you at the crosswalk.
3. Once you’ve crossed the street head left (with the buildings on your right) until the corner and then turn right.
4. Head straight and you will immediately see the entrance to the bus station on your right. Enter the station at the second entrance and head to the ticket office which will be on the left. Here you will buy tickets to the bus for Impruneta (the bus company is CAP). Note that you can also buy tickets on board but they are more expensive.
5. On the board in the ticket office you will see the departure time and platform as well as which route it takes (either Via Pozzolatico or Via Bagnolo). Both will take you to Impruneta. The busses run Monday through Saturday from 6:30am to 10:30pm a bus passes about every half-hour. On Sundays, from 7:20am to 20:30pm, the bus runs eight times.
6. Before getting on the bus, make sure the bus says either “Impruneta Via Pozzolatico” or “Impruneta Via Bagnolo” on the front of the bus. It should take about thirty minutes to arrive to the main square of Impruneta and in front of the Bellavista. You get off the bus across from the large church with Bellavista on the right of the square.
D – From Florence airport “Amerigo Vespucci”:
By car:
1. Follow the green signs for Highway A1 towards Rome
2. Exit at Firenze-Impruneta
3. Follow points A3 through A7 above
By taxi:
A taxi station is located just outside the arrival terminal of the airport and a trip should cost around 30.00 Euro.
By bus:
1.Take the shuttle bus that goes directly to Santa Maria Novella railway station and then follow points C1 through C6 above.
